Something that I took too far. This Wednesday I took some time to care for my school bike after the rape of my Japanese chapter test which took me all of 20 minutes. To clarify; my school bike was purchased at one of the semi-annual campus security bike sales where they offload all the bikes they confiscated over the previous semester. The bike cost me $7 and has never let me down. It also helps me appreciate my weekend bike, a Specialized Hardrock Sport which does not see the bike racks outside. After my test I rode to University Village where I rolled up to the bike shop to fill up my tires, which had been bothering me. The gauge on the air nozzle was hard to read and in kilograms for some reason so I didn’t take the time to check what pressure they were at. I guess that I filled them too much which now has resulted in an exercise in discomfort whenever I get on my bike, going from rolling over bumps to having the seat shoot up my ass was an eye-opening experience to be sure. I’m not sure what the next move is, I enjoy the better response in acceleration, but the bike feels uneasy when I turn hard and the lack of shock absorption is getting to me. I most likely will end up deflating the tires a bit.
I have stated before how I have used workout supplements, and I am now back on the wagon. For the past few weeks I have noticed a marked decline in my energy level during my 8 am workouts. I’m always groggy and I don’t seem to have the same beast force I usually have. What this has caused me to do is return to the semi-erotic world of online supplements and order a tub of NO Shotgun.

I have been waiting a while to put something with “shotgun” in my body. What NO Shotgun comprises of is a mix of three supplement groups; energy, muscle size, and recovery. I won’t write the laundry list of chemicals here, but I will say that primary things that I see in NO Shotgun are creatine ethyl ester for recovery with no loading, NO2 for oxygenation and muscle volumization, and caffeine for that energy burst. I realize that I could get what I want by simply taking caffeine pills or drinking tea before I workout, but neither of these appeal to me as a viable option. Caffeine pills seem dirty to me, I would rather have them supported by a pyramid of other chemicals. I am not looking for magical results from this, I have just heard that NO Shotgun is as good as any other supplement I have tried, and those have worked out fairly well. With that said I await my package of NO Shotgun and with shortly go into the gym locked and loaded.
